Madera Teacher Residency Program

What is the Madera Teacher Residency Program?

The Madera Teacher Residency is a collaborative effort between Fresno State and Madera Unified School District. This program provides new multiple-subject credential candidates with a teacher preparation program that will give them hands-on experiences in a Dual Language Immersion (DLI) classroom setting. From day one, Teacher Residents are paired with a Master Teacher in a DLI classroom in order to complete their student teaching hours. Additionally, Fresno State faculty will come to you!

The Multiple Subject Credential coursework will take place on-site, at a Madera DLI program school.
